Tessitura means texture.

Every voice has its own signature texture and timbre. I help my students discover their voice’s unique tonal color and quality to bring out their very own, distinct sound.

Amy Prince

I have been teaching private voice lessons for 10 years. I attended College for Musical Theatre and further gained degrees in English Literature, Music Literature, Vocal Pedagogy and Vocal Performance.

I began dance lessons at 6, piano lessons at 9 and voice lessons and flute lessons at 16. I first fell in love with vocal music singing in the church choir when I was 9. I have always loved how music made me feel and I loved being part of a group doing something special for others.

I am comfortable teaching and performing both musical theater and classical styles. I am comfortable teaching a wide range of voice types, skill levels, and experience.

I continue to find joy in music whether it be through adjudicating, directing, conducting, orchestral, opera or musical theatre performing and instruction.

I am thrilled to offer a community for musicians of all ages to learn, inspire, and perform together.

Train with an experienced vocal coach.
